Rodriguez continues to lead Elctrikchair on the domestic and international tour circuits chasing his predecessor influences, Buddy Rich and Dennis Chambers.
Bob once stunned his public high school principal when he scored an incredibly high [15.1 out of a possible 15.2] on a reading comprehension placement exam. Rodriguez's reading comprehension score exceeded scores obtained by students at his high school over the prior two years. His reading test score is higher than reading comprehension test scores achieved by most college students.
When asked his opinion of the exceptional test score he obtained on the reading exam, he shrugged his shoulders, smiled, nodded a confident acknowledgement and said, "Ehh, no big deal man."
In 2003, Andrew and Bob Rodriguez formed the heavy metal band, Elctrikchair [elec - tric - chair] and signed with indie professionals, Dust2Dust Music Network USA [Greenwood Village, CO].
Prior to age thirteen, Bob had already performed professionally in nearly every large and small nightclub in the Denver metropolitan area including a highlight appearance at Denver's Hard Rock Café in 2005.
At age eleven, Bob was introduced to formal instruction by professional drummer Tim Cook of the rock band, Russia.

Recently, he helped pack Denver's Marquis Theatre performing live with U.S.A.'s, Elctrikchair and Canada's Three Inches of Blood.
Thus far, Rodriguez and Elctrikchair have performed at thousands of large and small nightclubs across the United States including the major national venues: Rock-N-Roll Pizza [Portland], Apple Casino [Seattle], Funhouse [Seattle], Marquis Theatre [Denver], Herman's Hideaway [Denver], Ogden Theatre [Denver], Hardrock Cafe [Denver], Eck's Saloon [Denver], The Doll Hut [Anaheim], Whisky A Go Go [Hollywood], Troubadour [Beverly Hills], Knickerbockers [Lincoln, NE], Omaha Metal Fest [NE], Duffy's [Lawrence, KS], Granada Theatre [Lawrence, KS], The Jackpot [Lawrence, KS], That Place [Topeka, KS] ] The Bobbie Trap [Topeka, KS], Mugsy McGuire's [Carbondale, Il], El Morro Theatre [Gallop, N.M.] and a head-lining performance as part of the grand finale of the original legendary CBGB'S [NYC]. In 2006 Rodriguez and the Rampart High School marching Regiment [U.S.A., Colorado Springs, CO] won the Colorado State Marching Band Championship. Bob was a gold metal recipient for achieving a perfect performance score.
The 2009 jazz and marching band seasons at Bob's high school added an additional string of 'superior performance' ratings. Bob was named 'Outstanding Soloist' during a competition held at the highly regarded University of Kansas.
Upon earning his high school diploma at Washburn Rural high school in Topeka, KS, Bob successfully auditioned for the bachelor's degree percussion school at Kansas State University.
