PROGRESSIVE DEATH METAL

At its evolution into progessive metal EC led the New Generation Thrash movement.  EC's masterfully written artistic infusion is a clever avant-garde blend of metal genres, neo-classical runs, samba and jazz from the 1930's.

LATEST RELEASE

EC's latest release, XENOPHOBIA, highlights the originality and universal sophistication of EC song structure.

XENOPHOBIA can be purchased at FYE, Relapse Records, Hot Topic, Hastings, Best Buy, Wal-mart, Independent Records, Angelos, Vintage Stock and music outlets worldwide.  Add it to your collection, NOW!  Unless of course you're a xenophobe, in which case, you won't like it.

TRADEMARK SOUND

Diplomacy and underground music’s new world order give ELCTRIKCHAIR its trademark sound resembling the pinnacle of musicianship, Munich’s Necrophagist and Sweden’s Opeth.

METAL SIGNATURE

Despite an endlessly broad search for similarities, metal reviewers find historical metal signatures in EC’s music and recognize diverse metal influences. Curiosity remains as to where this metal re-birth will lead.  Fans of avant-garde, experimental jazz masters, Mr. Bungle, know all too well how misunderstood and unrecognized virtuosity remains.

ORIGINAL

Whatever it is, ELCTRIKCHAIR, is unrestrained metal, strangely exciting, unavoidably interesting, Mozart-Picasso original.

INSATIABLE ENERGY

EC fans of all ages feast on technical brilliance, incredibly well crafted and time perfect double pedal drum beats that motivate an insatiable stream of energy emanating from EC's underground birth cove.  READ MORE...

NEWS

RONNIE JAMES DIO REMEMBERED

Elctrikchair, Dust2Dust Music Network USA and Blastzone Entertainment Group would like to extend their sincere condolences to the family, friends and fans of Ronnie James DIO.

DIO's influence is forever engrained in our hearts and music.

We will never forget watching an embryonic Elctrikchair as they stood mesmorized in silence in the front row at DIO's performance at the then, Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

That day DIO performed with Iron Maiden, he is the one metalhead on the planet whose voice took his musicianship to a level at par with Maiden, some in the chair thought DIO superior.

DIO will forever live on in metal and Elctrikchair song.  DIO was to us, what the Rocky Mountains are to the world.  DIO, you are always in our thoughts.

PART OF EC'S HISTORY

Sadly, due to personal circumstances beyond his control, EC bassist; Charlie Long, was forced to leave the band.  We wish Charlie the best in his future endeavors and remain forever grateful to him for his unselfish and talent ridden contributions.  Charlie's exceptional skills will be sorely missed.  Another exceptional talent from Bakersfield, CA, Kenneth Ecker, has been selected to resume bass responsibilities for Elctrikchair.  While Charlie can never be replaced, Kenneth has demonstrated a wealth of skills that promise huge strides in the world of underground metal.  Fans, please join us in welcoming Kenneth Ecker to Elctrikchair.

APOLOGY

During the final preparation of the album, Xenophobia, an editing oversight occured resulting in the omission of all band member names.

As a result former bassist, Charlie Long's, name does not appear on the album cover.   Please note:  This is an honest mistake that will be corrected on the next run.

On behalf of EC, Dust2Dust Music USA and Blastzone Entertainment Group, we apologize to Charlie, his family, friends and fans.

Charlie deserves and has our sincere gratitude and respect.  Charlie's illustrated image is on the album cover and his photo, along with fellow band member's photos, appears on the back side of the album.

Buy it, this error may make the limited number of album covers in distribution a genuine collectible.

ELCTRIKCHAIR VICTIM

Zombie, Maris the Great has finally caught up to EC.  It's long been rumored that EC was in the zombie's way, that is; Maris the Great could not permit any band to continue that stood in the way of his project.

Therefore, mortals can read the complete story in Hails and Horns magazine.  The related story will appear in the June 12, 2010 issue.

Maris the Great of Denver, CO has bestowed this honor upon such greats as DIO and Iron Maiden.  This is one crime story you don't want to miss.
