Answer:  No.  It's 2000 something.  Update, "DRUGS, SEX AND ROCK & ROLL" was your ancestors 'butt rock" battle cry.   We're not shrinks or interested in judging anyone, just committed to what we know is necessary for us to be in position to deliver our best. 

Question:  Does ELCTRIKCHAIR (electric chair) endorse "DRUGS, SEX AND ROCK & ROLL?"

Answer:  Elctrikchair had this to say, "No, with the exception of rock & roll.  It's easy to stereotype musicians with long hair and assume they do.  It may come as a shock but NOT leaning on artificial crutches is a way of life for us."               

Question:  Do I/We have to sign anything to join Dust2Dust Music Network USA

Answer:  Yes.  We are committed to weeding out anyone or any business that is not legitimately DIY and opposed to 'Pay to Play' philosophies.  The only way we can prevent insiders from disrupting or compromising our business is to require them to sign a straight-forward agreement.  In short, it simply says if you're here to f#*k with us, we're going to sue you in the appropriate legal forum and recover any damages, losses, attorneys fees or seek payment of statutory penalties for any sh%t you cause.  Pretenders immediately "Run For The Hills" or never respond once they discover the commitment they're required to make to members of our network.  If you don't like or support DIY, PI#S OFF!

Answer:  UNDERGROUND GRASS ROOTS AMERICA.

Answer:  Attend our meetings [send us an email for details: ehunter1016@yahoo.com.]  Unlike many organizations, it's FREE to join Dust2Dust Music Network USA.  By joining, you have immediate input and participation in the network and decide with whom and how much you wish to invest in order to further yourself or your band.

Question: Does Dust2Dust Music Network USA support or endorse music or talent competitions like 'battle of the bands or artist idols?'

Answer:  No.  While battle of the bands competitions are usually the result of good intentioned originators it's difficult if not impossible to ensure that a competition is, fair; judged by qualified people, free of corrupting influences [retired rock star parents] and not controlled by financiers [money].  Perhaps this is best explained by ELCTRIKCHAIR. 

"If we wanted to compete, we'd join a fu%k$ng competition sport, we're musicians; we play music which is what we prefer to do.  Individual people will decide for themselves, what they like and what they don't.  We're not interested in force feeding music with marketing and money.  That's the mainstream's deal.  In the mainstream all you need is a pretty face and a lot of money to live a lie.  In the underground, you only need talent and guts.  That's why the only mainstream artists or bands we respect are the one's that started with nothing and grew into something without leaning on wealthy parents, major investors or major corporate sponsors.  Investors and sponsors are cool if they earned their way and didn't have it handed to them, otherwise they'll always be out of touch with our friends in the underground and if they can't be 'real' we don't want or need them."  

Question:  How are metal bands classified by DUST2DUST MUSIC NETWORK USA?

Answer: As follows:  

• LEGENDARY

• Established bands or artists that have been performing professionally for twenty years plus and have influenced current bands.  We could care less if they're a mainstream radio band or not, the key is; have they made a serious contribution to the underground music audience.     

• INTERNATIONAL

• Any band that has performed professionally in a foreign country for an audience of more than thirty, period.

• NATIONAL

• Bands or artists that possess a documented track record of touring successfully throughout the continental United States.

• REGIONAL

• Bands or artists that possess a documented track record of touring successfully in states surrounding their home state. 

• LOCAL

• Bands or artists that possess a documented track record of performing professionally in their home state or municipality.

• COVER BANDS / ARTISTS

• Bands or artists that possess a documented track record of performing music written by other well regarded artists.  Cover bands/artists rarely if ever  perform original music.    

Question:  How can I contribute to the continuing success of Dust2Dust Music Network USA?

Answer:  Know the difference between mainstream radio over-produced noise and raw underground metal.  Then you should be attending every show hosted by New York Death Militia and Dust2Dust Music Network USA.  Finally, join Dust2Dust Music Network USA. Send us an email requesting details if you're interested in supporting independent underground metal.  Additionally, if you support underground metal and are completely committed to the DIY [Do It Yourself] approach any donation you make will be used exclusively to offset the costs of D2DMN USA sponsored events and to pay administrative costs in order to strengthen the cause of underground music.  All memberships and donations will be acknowledged with a membership gift package from D2DMN USA.  You may also elect to join the growing list of D2DMN USA investors.  Investor information is proprietary and never released to the public unless an individual investor makes a written request for publication.  Investor prospects should contact us [provide first and last name, street address and phone number] via email to request detailed information on the investor process.         

Question:  Can a band participating in the Dust2Dust Music Network USA be contracted [signed] by another interested business or major record label?

Answer:  Absolutely.  Dust2Dust Music Network USA sponsored bands may be considered by interested businesses.  Interested parties should contact Dust2Dust Music Network USA as all negotiations will be handled by the Dust2Dust Music Network USA management team.  Bands participating in the Dust2Dust Music Network USA but not officially contracted [signed] may elect to have Dust2Dust Music Network USA's management team negotiate on their behalf or may negotiate independent of the Dust2Dust Music Network USA. 

Question:  What qualifies Dust2Dust Music Network USA as an underground music network?

Answer:  Dust2Dust Music Network USA is managed by a professional business team with more than half a century of combined business experience, network managers hold business and social science degrees from accredited U.S. colleges and universities, graduate level studies from an accredited college of law and possess extensive experience in the professional entertainment industry.  Additionally, Dust2Dust Music Network USA belongs to a global network of professionals that are committed to metal. 

Question:  Does a music promoter or record label owner have to have a college degree to be legitimate?

Answer:  No. You don't have to know how to drive or be licensed to speed in a car on an open highway, but its advisable.  Only in rare instances can anyone succeed without proper training, those that do, are eventually forced to consult those that are trained experts.   

Question:  Is Dust2Dust Music Network USA a Record Label?

Answer:  No. Record labels, as they were known in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today, are rapidly becoming extinct as modern concepts replace antiquated [out-dated] terminology.  Dust2Dust Music Network USA was created in part to protect bands from the unscrupulous activities of some businesses referring to themselves as record labels and/or promoters.  Although Dust2Dust Music Network USA actively signs [contracts] and supports select bands, Dust2Dust Music Network USA; while it may include legitimate recording studios and professional marketing firms in its network is a cutting edge cooperative fighting for artists and bands with talent and limited resources, not an out-dated record label interested in profits only.

Answer:  Dust2Dust Music Network USA is owned by its founding members [static committee], investor contributors, and you and professionally managed by individuals and/or groups serving on its board of directors.  It is the only TRANSPARENT organization in metal, hardcore, legitimate punk and heavy rock.  That is, you know where every dime coming in goes and you know where every dime that goes out went.

Answer:  Dust2Dust Music Network USA is the proud sponsor of the national/international touring band Elctrikchair.   Since electing to sponsor Elctrikchair, the band has received and continues to receive superior reviews from numerous music magazines, performed with legendary artist/bands including:  The Misfits, Black Dahlia Murder, Cattle Decapitation, Death Angel, 3 Inches of Blood and many, many others.  Elctrikchair has toured extensively in the United States and performed professionally in Canada.  The successes of Elctrikchair continue to inspire Dust2Dust Music Network USA to support underground bands, artists and musicians.  Dust2Dust Music Network USA continues to seek new talent and sponsor underground bands, artists and musicians.
