As a result of their exciting performances, EC was invited to play its, first-ever, major metal fest.
The list of bands on this page includes some that no longer exist. Nonetheless, this page serves to acknowledge the bands that performed at this U.S. music festival.

NATIONAL U.S. TOUR PERFORMANCES
This page is dedicated to our many friends around the world who continue to support EC and underground metal, hardcore and punk. As you take a look at the long list of performances below, we hope you will reflect on the endless rehearsals, hard work [loading-unloading] sacrifices made by families and friends of national and international touring underground artists [time on the road] and the unselfish investments [time and money] each underground artist makes so the various underground scenes around the U.S. and throughout the world will have the metal, hardcore and punk they deserve. All these independent underground bands hope for in return is your support, they deserve it and no artists out there will appreciate it more.
While mainstream acts get a free ride be aware that; with few exceptions, many of them are heavily marketed mediocre artists. Jazz, the blues and hip hop didn't originate in Beverly Hills, yet each influences metal in various ways. The real talent is in the independent underground where what you hear is real, it isn't doctored, over-produced [perfected by machines] and it isn't raising money for greedy corporate moguls. Keep this in mind, the next time you walk into a mainstream store to buy their merch. Doesn't it make more sense to buy merch from underground bands? Afterall, when was the last time Justin Bieber, Hana Montana or The Backsteet Boys bought anything from you or your band? If you absolutely have to have a Justin Bieber or Hanna Montana tee, at least buy an additional tee from your favorite underground artist the next time you have that chance. Thanks for reading, please enjoy EC's history. Hyals! Keep the horns!

California
In 2005 ELCTRIKCHAIR played to packed houses at the Anarchy Library (Downey) and Ambrose Pizza (Whittier). Despite the searing temperatures fans struggled to squeeze into the shows to be a part of metal's future. Nauseam and Blood Cum joined their brothers in metal to thrill the heat seeking California fans.
Elctrikchair performed at many venues throughout California during the summer "Southwestern Bloodbath Tour 2007."
Kansas
Lawrence-Granada Theatre-Typical of mainstream venue, underground sensations, EC and Unmerciful brought the house down, the owners and promoters were busy chasing Walt Disney's Hanna Montana. Incredible show!!!
A quiet preppy patio haven, in 2006 ELCTRIKCHAIR performed to the patio crowd and enjoyed the scenery. Firehouse Cue will never be the same after being brutalized by perhaps the best metal they'd ever experienced but they're definitely now appreciative of the severity of southwestern brutality.
Topeka-Heart Attack Jacks-A few local promoters got together and put together a terrific show with a large and enthusiastic crowd. We were so impressed that we told them we'd be back.
Massachusetts
Boston-O'Bien's-Destruction Tour 2006
After enjoying a tour of the J.F.K. library Destruction Tour 2006 made its way to Harvard University and eventually arrived at O'Brien's. Navigating Boston roads near O'Brien's was an absolute nightmare, they are narrow and appear to have been made for carriages in the 1800s.
Unfortunately, things would get worse before they got better. The hitch on our equipment trailer broke. Fortunately, it never separated from the trailer so it was more of an inconvenience than any real problem.
Although O'Brien's was a relatively quiet stop, ELCTRIKCHAIR brutalized Boston and left a political message that rocked America's foundation. What a night, it was fun and a great release for stress that had built up with the strain of an exhausting national music tour. What the...No Walmarts in Boston? Avoid the Mass Pike toll road if you ever go there, its twenty bucks to drive a short distance, although we had a 2 axle trailer. Still, it was ridiculous compared to other toll fees. Is Mass a political paradise or what?
Missouri
JOPLIN-CESSPOOL CASTLE
By the time the Destruction tour 2006 arrived in Joplin, MO it was 8 p.m. and 97 degrees, by 9 p.m. temperatures reached 115 degrees on stage with humidity nearly 95%. Even those conditions didn't keep music fans from packing the Cesspool Castle to see their favorite metal bands.
Grindscape was first to take the stage and blew the roof off the place followed by Elctrikchair who polished off one of the best metal shows MO has ever seen with energy driven stage antics and a fury of sic thrash fans moshing and headbanging to an electric, pulsating and thunderous roar and the taming shrill of incredible solos that are a metal trademark.
Following Elctrikchair's set, fans showered the band with shouts of more, more, more, more... EC responded with a surprise encore to bring the hottest evening in rock-n-roll history to a dreaded but suitable conclusion. Fans cheered and eagerly approached both bands to buy merch and get autographs.
Illinois
CARBONDALE-MUGSY MCQUIRE'S
A huge crowd [500 plus] blew the doors off anything seen during the 2006 Destruction Tour. Wow! Southern Illinois is the home of metal. Our special thanks to Crunch Haven, the masterful promotions company that put this show together. None of this would have happened without their professional intervention. Hails! Carbondale's Poor King, two piece masters, caught the attention of the crowd followed by hardcore sensation, Lineage, comprised of ex-members of Monstrosity and guitarist, Will Mcclanhan ; a spectacular soloist who has performed with Obituary. Annihilate took the stage to complete the perfect package. All three Illinois' bands combined to thrill screaming fans. EC seemed inspired by the crowd response and expressed their appreciation by putting on perhaps one of their best performances ever. Lead guitarist, Andy Rodriguez, put it this way: "The energy of the crowd was surreal, we lost track of time." The show ended with fans screaming for more and the sound manager being pummeled with insults for muting sound to end EC's extended forty-five minute set.
CHICAGO-O'MALLEY'S
Thanks to the hot lady in the front row that flashed EC. Wow! Great venue, awesome people. We're looking forward to getting back to O'Malley's. The owner is a class act and demonstrated it with how he went out of his way to accomodate the show. How much fun it was brutalizing Chicago, southwestern style. If the fans weren't awake when we arrived they're dead when we left, uh I mean awake man awake!
Nebraska
The Omaha Metal Fest, The Rock (Papillion)
Nowhere in the mid-west is metal more alive than at the Omaha Metal Fest. The best metal bands in the nation's bread basket gathered to thrill some of the greatest metal fans in America. ELCTRIKCHAIR was honored to be part of such a well organized and exciting metal event. Keep your eyes on this one its already among the country's best! We're anticipating 2007 will leave its mark as well.
Knickerbockers (Lincoln)
Metal brother JP [sic drummer] and the crazed fans from Lincoln always let us know metal is welcome in the nation's bread basket. Many of the fans that attended the show were underage but that didn't keep them away. Hell, climbing on window seals to sneak a peak works if the doors won't open to you. Don't try to tell these fans they don't know metal, they've already forgotten more than some will ever know. We can't wait to get back to Lincoln where fans know how to appreciate getting their ear drums smashed and rubbing elbows with the likes of metal gods like Death Metal Paul. A sleeping giant is about to be awakened in rural America. Could this be the new home of 'Citicorpse?' Don't get comfortable!
The Point After (Lincoln)
We shall forever remember The Point for its hospitality and for the first venue we were asked to perform a three hour set because a band [which shall remain unnamed RIP] didn't show up. EC shocked fans by not only playing a three hour ear shattering set but bringing fans to near metal hysteria. One of the best metal nights Lincoln has ever experienced. Hails to the fans that packed the joint to welcome EC every time they played The Point.
The Royal Grove (Lincoln) [RIP]
RIP, the Grove had a solid history of welcoming some of the best metal bands from around the world. Doubling as a strip club during the day. Bob will always remember this nightclub. They once tried to trash his sound [he was 12 at the time]. But its all good, Bob grew up-saw a little more than he should have that night because we arrived a bit too early but the bottom line is; Bob's still kicking metal ass and the Grove is RIP. Maybe it'll be revived under a more metal friendly management in time to welcome one of the world's best drummers back.
The Omaha Metal Fest
Shea O'Rileys
Nevada
LAS VEGAS-COOLER LOUNGE
The city that never sleeps is just that. In 2005 EC was busy adding to the nightlife. ELCTRIKCHAIR thrilled a packed house [21 plus]. The desert warm air was just enough to ensure that everyone enjoyed the best metal could offer. The fans were great, the band was proud to autograph the ladies. Oh yeah, Cooler, they'll be back. Nevada Las Vegas is entertainment U.S.A.
NEW MEXICO
GALLUP-EL MORRO THEATRE JULY 2004
FARMINGTON- THE TOTAH THEATRE JUNE 2007
ALBUQUERQUE-THE BLEEDING EAR DRUM MAY 2009
Native Americans and loyal metal fans turned out in large numbers to join Elctrikchair in its first ever performance in New Mexico. There can be no greater honor than playing before people who share the American heritage of Andy and Bob, perhaps the musical skills they possess originated in their proud historical past and were merely passed down as a gift from the ancestors.
The metal fans in this great city were driven by passion for pure metal sounds. After EC's stage performance fans lined up for autographs and to express their welcome opinions, polite and complimentary. ELCTRIKCHAIR is looking forward to the next opportunity to perform for the awesome people of New Mexico. The bands, the fans, even the every day folks all of them were incredible!
NEW YORK
Buffalo-Showplace Theatre-Destruction Tour 2006
After a long cross country trek, Buffalo was a welcome stop.
The band was glad to arrive at the Show Place Theatre after a brief stop to taste genuine N.Y. pizza. The people of Buffalo were awesome.
The Show Place Theatre crowd brought down the house for Buffalo's FIREBORN, Colorado's GRINDSCAPE, EC and three of the best area metal bands. The thunder could be heard from the Rockies to the Appalachians, as all of the bands joined to rip metal that shook the foundation of America.
The tour included a stop at Niagara Falls, an incredible sight.
New York City "The Big Apple"
LEGENDARY CBGB'S
ELCTRIKCHAIR headed to the Big Apple for a Destruction Tour 2006 highlight appearance at the world famous CBGBS.
The most memorable comment ELCTRIKCHAIR got from a CBGB'S staff member: "You guys act so normal, I didn't realize you were the headlining band. Based on how you play, you deserve to be treated like rock stars but its really cool that you don't think you're too cool to be one of us."
CBGBS is being evicted to make room for accommodations for the homeless. It's fitting that the greatest 'grass roots' [non-commercial] independent rock club in the history of the United States is stepping aside to make room for its fellow disenfranchised citizens. Some of CBGB'S history, however, will live on forever. A book that serves as a historical record of the club's past has been written and certain icons of the club are marked to become part of the new CBGB'S to open in Las Vegas in the near future. The world knows that nearly every great band has been invited to play CBGB'S. The walls and nearly everything else [including the urinals and commodes] in the dimly lit punk-metal cove are papered with proof of rock's timeless presence. Walking through the club gives one a very real sense of being embraced by ghosts of rock's past [The Ramones, Nuclear Assault, Dead Boys, Carcass, AC/DC, Napalm Death,The Misfits just to name a few.] CBGB'S has long been and shall always be the envy of every fan, band and music venue in the world. Hails!
CBGB'S ELCTRIKCHAIR brothers, Bob and Andy Rodriguez and bandmate, Steve Stanulonis; put it best, "headlining a show at CBGB'S is such an honor that it wouldn't be fair to set foot on stage without saluting every band, musician or act in America that ever dreamed of being a part of this legend."
Upon learning that his band had been confirmed to headline a show at CBGB'S lead guitarist, Andrew Rodriguez, had this to say, "I dreamed about performing live on stage at CBGB'S since I was in eighth grade [Andrew is now 22 years old]." With a wide-eyed expression on his face and a flood of emotion consuming him, he added, "Playing CBGB'S is my lifetime dream realized, performing as the headlining band at CBGB'S is beyond my wildest imagination. I want every kid who ever picked up a guitar to know that it isn't bull shit. If you're willing to work your ass off dreams do come true. No matter how much crap you have to deal with along the way. This makes every sweltering basement rehearsal and envious insult worth it. Hell yes, CBGB'S, ELCTRIKCHAIR is humbled and honored to become a part of your treasured history.
The only thing that separates us from other musicians is that we are fortunate enough to have this opportunity and willing to pay the dues to get to New York. During our trip we couldn't help wondering how many legendary bands endured the grueling challenges of the road. Without modern conveniences, early rock bands survived starvation diets, gave up showers for weeks on end, tried to ignore the blistering heat and fatigue and set aside the attitudes of assholes they encountered along the way. None of these things discouraged them which is why many of those same things continue to inspire ELCTRIKCHAIR." We played our guts out for our great fans and everyone trying to make it now or that will try in the future. Together, we're the world's music scene."
Long Island's WHISKEY LIFE opened the CBGB'S show with an incredible New York groove metal sound followed by REMAINS OF THE FALLEN who then exploded onto the stage with some of the Big Apple's best hardcore. Colorado's GRINDSCAPE captured New York fans with their awesome Rocky Mountain doom metal sound and headliner, ELCTRIKCHAIR also from Colorado, stormed into the Big Apple sending N.Y. fans into a frenzy with sensational original thrash metal.
Crazed fans moshed, headbanged, jumped on stage in perhaps the most frenzied farewell CBGB'S could ever have envisioned. Ear drum shattering sounds, unrestrained rebellious vocals, melodic perfection, it was all there. None of the fans or bands wanted it to end. At times it seemed members of every band that ever played there was on the floor or on stage and their fans were feeding the endless sea of energy. It was, electric.
The entire CBGB'S show was broadcasted live, via the internet, to rock fans around the world. Hails, to rock fans worldwide!
ELCTRIKCHAIR and GRINDSCAPE are now officially a part of the enduring legacy and proud heritage of the greatest rock club in the history of the United States, New York's, CBGB'S.
We would like to send a special thanks to our friends [who kept us from starving and delirium] fans, venue owners and promoters who made this timeless rock honor of all honors a reality for ELCTRIKCHAIR, GRINDSCAPE, Colorado and most of all, rock fans around the world.
Despite the early morning hour following their performances at CBGB'S, ELCTRIKCHAIR and GRINDSCAPE took time to pay respects to victims of 911 by visiting the former site of the World Trade Center towers, now eternally honored with ongoing construction of appropriate historical monuments.
Oregon
Portland-Rock-n-Roll Pizza-We're Not a Real Band" tour 2006
ELCTRIKCHAIR brutalized the northwest with metal riffs and guitar solos that tore the roof off the place. Portland is probably still trying to put itself back together but for metal this was cause for celebration. The fans were incredible, the promotion was great and the bands were incredible.
Washington State
Seattle-The Fun House-We're Not a Real Band Tour 2006
In downtown Seattle at the foot of Seattle's space needle, ELCTRIKCHAIR was warmly received by a large 21 plus crowd. After brutalizing metal fans, ELCTRIKCHAIR was invited to perform at a Colorado mountain show. The enthusiastic crowd showed its appreciation for metal by raising the roof and shouting their approval. The Fun House has a legendary rock history for a reason, a very good one.
Everett-Big Apple Casino-We're Not a Real Band Tour 2006
The show was a result of unprofessional chaos at some place called studio seven. Seattle apparently has a real problem with punk band attitudes. The show was on, then it was off and never happened which probably was a good thing for all involved. Big Apple Casino was terrific. A respectable crowd was just beginning to enjoy the EC show when Andy broke a string and Floyd Rose became a dick. Anyway, a quick repair got things underway and everything turned out alright. What could have been an incredible show ended up being a great one. EC is looking forward to playing Seattle again, with a little luck things will run smoother next time. Oh yeah, the sound guy through his hands up in the air and walked out during the performance of one of the bands so things got pretty creative by the time we went on stage. If this is as bad as it gets on the road, no big deal. Hell, this is rock-n-roll.
MILWAUKEE METAL FEST XIX-2007 ELCTRIKCHAIR PERFORMED ON THE PROJECT INDEPENDENT STAGE WITH MACABRE AND A HOST OF GREAT METAL BANDS FROM ACROSS THE U.S. FEST HEADLINERS, ACHERON AND GOD FORBID LED THIS YEARS GATHERING OF METAL'S BEST.
MILWAUKEE-In 2004, ELCTRIKCHAIR performed live on the main stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with metal's best and punk icons, 'THE MISFITS.' Metal Fest XVIII drew an energy driven crowd in the thousands. Among the highlights of the band's performances, Metal Fest XVIII continues to serve as an inspiration and will forever be ingrained in the memories of the original ELCTRIKCHAIR band members and their fans. Excited metal fans lined up for autographs following ELCTRIKCHAIR'S maiden performance at America's legendary metal fest.
SHAWANO-ELCTRIKCHAIR performed for metal fans in Shawano adding to the already historical metal climate Wisconsin metalheads have come to expect.
INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCES
Where They've Played:
VANCOUVER BRITISH COLUMBIA-CANADA
MARCH 2006 - The "We're Not a Real Band Tour" arrived at the famed Piccadilly Pub in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
The drive across the Canadian border was spectacular. As we entered Vancouver, the bright city lights shone with multi-colored reflections upon the water front. The skyline of skyscrapers was an incredible back drop, it was surreal.
ELCTRIKCHAIR was welcomed by a packed house. RADIO KILL opened the show with sic Canadian metal, followed by LUNCH BUCKET who made a metal statement heard back in Colorado. ELCTRIKCHAIR took the stage capturing the attention of screaming fans and answered the welcome greeting with authentic international thunder. DROWNING IN THE MAINSTREAM blew the walls out and left our ears ringing for the entire trip home. What an awesome way to go deaf.
Thanks Canada, you made an impression on ELCTRIKCHAIR that will last a metal eternity! The venue owners and managers rock. Thanks for the souvenir show poster, it's framed and hanging in our rehearsal room. Special thanks to the hot Canadian ladies that cheered us on. Right on. Wow!
Fans scrambled for autographs and to visit with band members, while band members seized every opportunity to mix with the crazed Canadian metal fans. Best show on the planet A. Oh yeah A. No doubt about it A. Hails to all our Canadian friends! This was a night every metalhead in the world would want to experience. What an incredible metal country Canada is, you gotta live it man.
Canadian fans have to be among the best in the world. The hospitality of the people we met in Vancouver was unreal. America! If any of these Canadian bands ever express an interest in playing your venues, open your doors and prepare yourself to appreciate some of the best metal the world has to offer.
